Digital Radiography
We offer both in house and ambulatory radiology services with a digital radiographic system that provides high detailed digital images that are available immediately without having to develop film manually.
Advantages to a digital system are fast processing time and the ability to manipulate the image for improved diagnostics. We are also able to delete and retake any inadequate images at a decreased expense to the client.
In addition to our classic radiographic machines, we also have equipment that has the capability to x-ray deep structure and tissue.
Images taken are stored digitally for future viewing or can be emailed or burned to a disc for the owner, farrier or sent to a referral center if warranted.
We also have field units to offer radiographic services at your barn if so requested for quicker and more accurate diagnosis.
Please contact us for any services needed.

Digital Ultrasound
Equine Services LLC has several ultrasound units that we utilize here at the clinic as well as in the field. We have multiple probes to visualize various tissues and structures including a musculoskeletal probe (to look at muscle, tendon, ligaments bone and soft tissue) and a rectal probe to view internal structures (reproductive organs, intestines, etc.).
Our digital ultrasound units help us to better identify problems, determine the extent of said problems, and formulate an appropriate diagnosis, prognosis and treatment plan.
Our reproductive services include transrectal ultrasounds to determine where the mare is at in her cycle, and determine the best time to breed as well as diagnose pregnancies as early as 16 days. We offer in house mare care to facilitate artificial insemination with both cooled shipped and frozen semen. Our high quality ultrasounds help to guide us in the proper timing of insemination in these mares.
Endoscopy
Equine services LLC provides endoscopic procedures both in-house and in the field.
Endoscopy is using a small camera at the end of a flexible tube to take images of a desired area/structure. These include upper and lower airway, pharyngeal structures and guttural pouches.
Due to the sensitivity of these structures your horse may need to be restrained with either a twitch or sedation to better view the affected structures.
Some problems that may be identified with endoscopy include:
Respiratory disease
Guttural pouch mycosis/infection
Upper/lower airway lesions
Ethmoid hematomas/tumors

Laboratory In House
We offer routine blood testing both in house and coming soon will be able to offer limited blood work to be performed in the field. We recommend that a general health panel be pulled yearly on senior horses or those horses that have had a history of chronic illness. We are also able to do CBC, Chemistry, and Stable lab tests on site. Please call our office to arrange an appointment!!!
Fecal Egg Count Testing- we offer in house fecal egg counts for your herd.
REASONS TO PERFORM FECAL EGG COUNTS (FEC)
• To evaluate the anthelmintic efficacy using the FECRT.
• To evaluate and monitor the egg reappearance period (ERP) of the most recently
administered dewormer.
• To determine the shedding status of the horse at the time of sampling.
• To determine whether parasite burdens in foals and weanlings are primarily P. equorum
or strongyle.
